The St. Thomas More Catholic Lawyers' Association is an organization of Catholic attorneys in the Archdiocese of New Orleans with a mission to promote the ideals of St. Thomas More and professionalism in the law.
Dear Members and Friends of St. Thomas More Catholic Lawyers Association:
The feast day of St. Thomas More is 22 June. We do not have any activities planned for that day, but two soon after.
Activity 1. There will be a St. Thomas More Feast Day Mass Saturday 27 June 2026, 4pm, at Visitation of Our Lady Parish, 3500 Ames Blvd. Marrero, LA 70072. This was organized by the Knights of Columbus, which plans to have a small reception after in the cafeteria. There will be finger sandwiches, dessert and drinks (wine for adults). All are welcome. We hope to see you there.
Activity 2. Judge Amanda Calogero has arranged a volunteer opportunity on 2 July 2026 and would like a head count: Please respond to this e-message if you can come and help and how many people will be with you.
Thursday, July 2nd, 9am-2pm. The project for that day will be the flower beds around the building at Padua Community Services. The bottom part of the beds is cement and needs to be painted. The beds also need to be weeded with new plants/flowers to be planted and perhaps mulch spread throughout.
Padua's maintenance worker and one of Padua's drivers will be available to assist with the project.
Lunch will be provided.
